

"We haven't used the 'Release Candidate' nomenclature since the ICS days, but we feel the 10.1 branch is quickly approaching the point where a 'final' build is due. The CyanogenMod 10.1 build, based on Android 4.2.2, may or may not see a few more milestone releases before the final release.


Until then, the Release Candidate builds are available for installation. The CyanogenMod team said Wednesday that a final version of the 10.1 build is getting closer to completion. This follows up the previous CyanogenMod nightly builds, which were not as stable. CyanogenMod released a more stable version of its 10.1 custom firmware, the Release Candidate (RC1) build.
